| $25.00Joshua Ray is originally from Paris, Texas. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was assigned to HMX-1 (Marine Helicopter Squadron One) Security, the Presidential Helicopter Squadron. Following his active duty service, Ray joined the Texas Department of Public Safety. Ray was a State Trooper for thirteen years in stationed in El Paso, but spent the majority of his Trooper career in San Marcos. In 2013, he was promoted to Special Agent within the DPS Criminal Investigation Division and assigned to the Capital Complex in Austin. In this capacity, Ray performed various counter-surveillance and undercover operations, various criminal investigations, and dignitary protection. In 2015, Ray was promoted to Texas Ranger and assigned to Co. “A” in Bryan, Texas. As a Texas Ranger, Ray performed major criminal investigations consisting of various violent crimes i.e. murder, robbery, kidnapping, sex crimes etc. and public corruption-related offenses. In 2020, Ray transferred to Co. “F” in New Braunfels in the same capacity as a Ranger, where he finished out his DPS career. In October of 2022, Ray retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Immediately following retirement, Ray was hired by Guadalupe County as the first Chief Deputy in Guadalupe County since 1995. A position he currently holds. He lives in Seguin with his wife of 22 years, Janel Ray, and their youngest daughter, Emily. His oldest daughter, Brooke, is currently attending the San Antonio College Law Enforcement Academy with aspirations of beginning a career in law enforcement. His son, Ethan, is currently on active duty in the United States Air Force as a C130 crew chief at Little Rock AFB.
Fellowship starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and the speaker. Ticket includes a meal. Outdoor venue, casual dress attire.
