Die Froehliche Tanzgruppe is a dance group that performs traditional German and Bavarian Polka, waltz and Schuplattler routines. The group was originally formed in 1977 by NB living Legend Helgard Suhr-Hollis to perform at Wurstfest. In 2025 it was united for the first time with the local German children’s dance group Kinder Tänzer of New Braunfels. Die Froehliche Tanzgruppe is alive with the spirit and vigor of the skilled young adults of Kinder Tänzer of New Braunfels. The widespread prosperity and beauty of German dance is once again coming to the youth. Come and see.
